Katherine B. Wiens

Katherine Burkey Wiens lives in Newton, Kansas. As an early childhood educator for 28 years, Katherine taught both children and adults. Her workshop topics include child protection, Circle of Grace curriculum, and ways to value and nurture children in the church. She just completed a graduate degree in clinical counseling at Emporia State University.  In 2013 her childhood memoir—Bars, Dumps, and Other Childhood Hangouts—was published; her new book, Please Don’t Send Me Back, will be published in spring 2017.
